Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

You rock, Zulu Doggy! I love your stories. My only caveat is that E. carefully says very little that isn't open to broad interpretation (aside from their actual picks) which helps them stay more...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

Everyone's analysis is thoughtful and excellent, especially Zulu and stlousta (sp.). I think this is definitely the best way to go to determine the winner, or at least be ale to predict Thursday night...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

sillybbnyc, good post. Although sometimes I write about them harshly, the Final Three are really good folks. None of them would be at the Final Three without the other two and some luck. The...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

We are winding down here to the finale so I believe a "microfocusing" of the story arc analysis is necessary. The themes for this week's story are clear.. (1) Jerri will play a major role in the jury...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

Sun excellent comments, Except I think Tina (as well as Keith) finds him winning the challenges annoying. Remember Colbster also won the mental challenges as well. all that food has given him alot of...

sillybbnyc: Good post, I like your thought process. I'm not sure you aren't dead on when you say: Through commentary in tomoorow's{sic} episode, we'll see some things that have been hidden from us and...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

I don't think Keith is done yet. He keeps looking like toast, or at least on shaky ground, and then coming back again, through the whole show. I think a lot of his "arrogance" has been the result of...

From ttpup.... "MB can wreak havoc with our acceptance of certain themes, though, by tearing them down in the end. This is the foundation of much current, popular entertainment." Feel that this...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

Keith equals little fumbles and little bits of arrogance. Fumbling and bumbling all over the place. Tina equals one big-time fumble and one big-time arrogance. "Most deserving" fumble at the Tribal...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

Another big fumble for Tina, now that we have been given the heads up on all the jury discussions, (early show - how it worked the first time), Is the whole who needs the money most with Rodger and...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

Late words on a great post. I think MadWoman's metaphor is a part of a bigger one: perseverance THROUGH self-sacrifice The Ogakor tribe persevered through individual self-sacrifice. Each of the three...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

Keith - We've watched this character start from being sympatheticable/pitied **l** (gotta know syn speak),(almost like Hamlet's step dad in nature), to becoming so confident he's almost arrogant, then...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

Well, I was wondering where to put this, so I finally chose the storytelling thread. Okie and StLou, great job on the GUT. With so little to go on, it is still very detailed and believable. Here's...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

primerib, you say that footage is seen of the Ogakor strategy sessions. Who sees this? just us, the audience or does the jury see it also? I dont think MB would allow for the jury to see it. The point...

I would also be interested to hear why you think Rodger would vote for Colby over Tina. It seems to me it's pretty much a done deal that Rodger and Elisabeth will be voting for Tina. She is the one...

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

But why would they only show the videos to the F2? That's how I read it. It's all just speculation, thanks for finding the source. I never write anything down (although I plan to change that for S3.)

Re: Episode 14 -- Story arcs and writer's corner

no - I dont think they are showing any vids to ANY of the survivors. I think we, the viewers, see the clips. To show clips to anyone else would defeat the purpose of the game show!
